Antelope Valley Hospital: Nurses Strikes Ends

Approximately 1,000 at The Antelope Valley Hospital (AVH) ended their 24-hour strike.
This was the first of its kind of AVH’s 61-year history.

The California Nurses Association (CNA), who represents the nurses, reported that contract negotiations between the nurses are aimed to bring attention to the concerns of safe staffing and retention of experienced nurses.
